Surface Engineering

Surface Engineering (a division of PT. Budhi Wiguna Prima) specializes in the provision of services to remanufacture worn out plant components, equipment parts and many other industrial items. Our primary purpose is to assist our customers in reducing operating cost and improving equipment/plant uptime by remanufacturing and repairing components at a cost effective price compared to the purchase of replacement OEM parts.
Our strengths lie in the remanufacturing of parts and components for mining equipments, such as mining/dump trucks and excavators. We are also a major player in the parts and components remanufacture for the oil and gas industry.
As proof to the company's commitment towards quality, PT. Budhi Wiguna Prima has been awarded with the ISO9001:2000 certification for the remanufacture of heavy equipment component, thermal coating, electric motors and generator (AC) repairs and overhaul.
Surface Engineering also has an alloy boat building division, capable of building 5 meter to 24 meter crew boats. All our boats are built from imported high quality marine grade alloy (5083 series) with DNV, ABS, Lloyd’s or BV Certification. Every boat can be custom made according to customer requirements. Completed boats will be thoroughly checked by our QA/QC department and certified by BKI or other certification bodies depending on customer request.
